Hello, I have reviewed your requirement & understand that you want to build a dynamic website for the property website that you currently have in HTML Format. As website roughly have 1550 pages of properties we can get data entry done for that too. We have man-power in-house for that. To maintain this we will develop a backend Admin panel. That we can use add, Company Name, Phone, Image (or Images if multiple), Lattitude, Longitude & property 150 words of content. When this data is stored in database, we can write code to implement proper Search functions for that. Our most of the websites are backed by database & handled through backend admin panel. Hi, We have a solution for you: We'll write a scraper that will take the info from your old website and put it into the database. We'll also create a search/ filter option connected with the DB. Such work will take at least 1.5 month so we require more information to give you a good quote: 1) Can you provide the example page from your old site to see how the information is presented? 2) How are pictures saved? We can either keep the same path to your old site or keep it in a separate new folder? 3) Do the pages look the same? Do they have additional content that is not required for the DB? 4) (Very important) What are ALL the fields that are required to be completed? Hi, Well according to my idea . We will create a grabber script and will run it on browser so it will automatically grabbed the data and put it in database. In a day we can grab around 50 properties so it will take around 30 days to create the database. After then we can create it in core php to implement the search functions and other things. Hi, Could you please answer following queries : 1. Do the current website have a uniform way of displaying content? If you can share the url of the older site i can review and confirm. Because if it is we can very well write a scrapping script and pull data off it programatically itself. So no to very little manual work involved. 2. Wordpress can be used for this purpose but do you have any other use of wordpress features on this site? Your requirements don't really ask for a wordpress site. It would work faster without wordpress features which may very well act as bloatware if they are not needed. We can custom code this with search feature, with a responsive layout (mobile / tablet friendly) and search engine optimized. 3. How about the ads? do you need something to manage ads? or would it simply be a script that needs to be placed at certain predefined positions on the website? Regards Rohit

Hello! This looks like an interesting project. I propose to use both - some automation with some manual data entry, to do the database population. The search function - will make it nice, attractive and fast. In front-end - we will use autocomplete. At the backend, we will create database indexes. I am an expert with multilevel indexing (client and server side) for real time search queries with auto-complete. We can use wordpress - or can go fully custom (plain php/javascript). You are right that wordpress/joomla can be a bit slow if database is large. However, using server side caching (APC cache, etc, they can be made faster). Still, nothing beats plain php and I personally prefer it at backend. Will ensure high quality SEO and also social meta tags. Captcha for search is fine. Spots for ads - will these be third-party ads (like google, etc or your own?). I guess we can discuss the fine details of layout, detailed features, responsive front-end, etc should we decide to proceed. Thanks & Looking forward, JP
