Hello, The requirement is pretty sketchy so I have a couple of comments. Hope you don't mind: To have a database that is available to other offices, it can only be hosted at the main office if you have a web server in place there. If not, the database has to be hosted with a service provider like Hostgator or Godaddy. The website will be totally secure so that access to it will be via login and password wherever it is hosted. It is difficult to place a bid without knowing a little about your business and what sort of data you hope to store in the database. Perhaps you could provide me with a little more information which could possibily reduce the amount of my bid. I would do the database in MySQL and use PHP as the back-end scripting language. The front-end would be HTML. javascript and AJAX naturally. I can host the system on my server here in Cape Town during the development and, when you are happy with the result, I can do the transfer to the live server if you so wish.
