Custom Book Design Flash Tool

Flash tool for custom design of children's book as part of an existing WordPress site. Tool will enable users to Print book contents onto labels laid out 4 to a page. Tool will also enable users to Save projects in progress for future editing and Share projects with others via social media (TBD). Maestro Label Designer at [login to view URL] offers many features similar to those to be included in this tool. Tool will provide 1 book layout featuring 3 page layouts, TITLING PAGE, INTERIOR IMAGE, INTERIOR TEXT. TITLING PAGE will feature space for one image, one large block of text (TITLE), and one small block of text (Author or sub-head). INTERIOR IMAGE will feature space for one image. INTERIOR TEXT will feature a text block for the user to add to and edit. The tool will present the user with 12 pages for their customization. The pages will be ordered as follows: Titling Page, 5 Image pages and 5 Text pages (alternating), Titling Page Users will be able to Print their Project onto 4"x5" labels arranged 4 per 8.5 x 11 inch (U.S. Letter) page following specifications of [login to view URL]'s OL475 label template. Selecting "Print" will display 3 Letter-sized pages suitable for printing and arranging the user's 12 pages appropriately across the 3 letter-sized pages. The user-created-pages will be arranged for printing on one label sheet with equal top and bottom margins of .547 inch and equal left and right margins of .1563 inch. A .1875 inch gap will exist between the left two labels and the right two labels. There will be no gap between the top two labels and the bottom two. Tool will provide approx. 6 fonts (fonts to be provided by Employer). Users will not have the ability to access their own system fonts. Tool: will include ability for user to upload images from their computer. will not provide ability to position or rotate text. will not provide basic shape elements (circle, square, triangle, etc.). will not include clip-art or backgrounds. will not include ability to download and integrate additional Themes. A palette of standard web colors will be provided for users to color text. Tool must allow for addition of new capabilities and be written with appropriate notation. All development files will be provided to employer at the midpoint of development and at the end of development to ensure that best-practices are followed. Tool will allow users to upload images of their own and associate them with their accounts. Image specifications (file type, max. size) TBD. Each user's images will only be accessible by that user. Tool will scale images automatically to fit within page, then allow user to scale images manually to be larger or smaller. Users will be able to save their Projects. The tool will be deployed in a WordPress based site. Tool will take advantage of WordPress user management tools to allow users to create a Subscriber account. Users may then save their designs to this account for later recall. Upon return to the site at a later date, users may login, and resume work on a tile arrangement they have previously begun. As users finish one page and begin another or finish their Project, the tool will create a thumbnail of each completed page and display all available thumbnails, in sequence along the bottom of the tool's working area. Clicking a thumbnail will bring the user to that page for editing. If work has been performed on the current page, an intermediate alert will ask the user if they wish to save their work on that page before proceeding. DESCRIPTION CONTINUES -
