A website application that is encoded in ASP, ASP.net or comparable that uses an SQL server account from data that will be provided on Microsoft Access to be transferred in a more efficient structure.? Create multiple leveled control panels from site administrator, to client level, to user level.? The system would manage due/fees for clients, provide an HTML editor for clients to update their own data that will be display on the site, send out email reminders and notifications, and manage user of the site favorites with statistics.
Clients will have events posted with descriptions that will be available for searching from the site users by date, geographical area, genre, interests, etc.? Also the site would have a page that list all events sorted by upcoming dates that displays only name and icons that when hovered over by the cursor will display a window with brief description of events and the ability to click for more detail or add to favorites.? This page would also be able to be filtered to find events of interest.
## Deliverables
The flow of the program:
?
The Admin of the site can create a new client or update an existing one.? Information includes Contact info of company, dues/fee when, payment method, (if credit card only capture information and displayed on a secured page to be manually processed), renewal date (used for dues alerts by email), Company Categories that describe service provided, username and passwords for clients to login. Ability to view or update events assigned to client and edit information from an HTML editor.
?
Clients can login and view contact information, billing information, statistics (views, repeat visits, etc) and use an html editor to edit information that include the ability to upload images in a gallery. ? This information will be viewed by website users from the main site and designed in a way that would allow future addition like embedding a video source etc. They will be able to create multiply events under their account.? This would be displayed from the client’s information page and listed by individual events in the main event view page.
?
When a visitor come to the site (user) can search and view client information page, view search individual events and narrow searches by designated filters. An overall events page will first list all events in the order of upcoming by date and be able to filter results.? This page will list events by name and display icons to represent genre, include events types, etc.? This overall events page list could include several hundred events and to ease the users experience in finding events of interest, creating a summary window of the event when hovering over the name. (a brief description, an image and a link to the events info page or a check box to be added as favorites.? If the user is not already signed in they will be prompt to login or create an account to start the favorites tracking.? The user control panel will require username, password, zip code and email address (this will be used for email blasts)? The user then can at any time click my favorites to show their list of events that can be sorted, saved, and printed.
?
There will be a few more pages on the website that will require HTML editor inputs at the admin control panel.? We will provide the layout design of the site and from there can be assembled with the application. A Provided template page would be ideal to insure sessions and from there all the supporting pages will not be your responsibly to construct.
?
The last function would be emails generated by the system from signups of users to triggered emails (pc software if necessary) for reminders, client newsletters, etc. The SQL server will handle all the data.
