Convert files: Quark xPress to XML

Coder to create an automated tool for converting Quark xPress files into XML files. Roughly 2,000 pages of content have been created for a printed book and stored in Quark xPress for publishing. We wish to publish these online to our website. The best format for us to add them to our database is from XML. Coder must write a program to convert the files in an automated fashion from Quark xPress format to XML. I will attach a sample of the Quark xPress files, and an example of our desired XML format. (they are for different pages -- not the same content). Coder to convert the files for us and supply us with the output in XML format. Coder also to supply us with a working conversion program, and source code for that program. If it is dramatically simpler for the coder to convert our files for us but not to create a finished utility for us, we will consider these bids, but it must be specified clearly in your bid. Please note we do not have a copy of Quark xPress and cannot provide you with one, if you need one to complete this project, you will need to supply it. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform We would like the program to operate in Win 2K and Win XP environments and not require any additional software to run.
