Sequence of events ??" customer order: customer 1) accesses web site 2) is presented with sales information including depiction of product, pricing and how-to-use web site 3) is directed to upload picture, explains minimum requirements for picture quality 4) then crops picture to fit a standard template including hour numerals 5) pets name is then entered into template location with a fixed maximum size window - font type and size is selectable 6) Numerals and pets name can be toggled between black and white depending on backround color 7) Is presented with “approval?? copy including facsimile of photo quality 8) Approves 9) Is directed to place in shopping cart 10) Has option to create another pet clock following same process 11) Is directed to checkout 12) Standard shopping cart checkout procedure including item quantity, shipping and payment options 13) Receives order confirmation via email Sequence of events ??" order fulfillment: Im not as sure of how this would work. In low volumes, each order could be emailed to the manufacturer (us) with shipping information. For higher volumes, I know this can be “batched?? or automated so that the shipping information is printed directly on a shipping label with bar code, etc. for the shipper (probably UPS) We would want the order number to print in the corner of the picture so that it is traceable through the manufacturing process.
