Beauty Industry Business Directory

We require the design and coding of a website which we intend to cater to the needs of the Beauty Industry. The main function of the site is a directory of beauty businesses (for example, salons, day spas, suppliers, etc). The directory will be searchable primarily by category and location, and optionally keywords. The listings will rank in order of average rating. Visitors to our site can rate individual businesses in our directory, and leave a comment. Essentially our site will serve as a place where they can voice their opinion and leave feedback on products and services. Other visitors can then search for products and services and view them based on comments left and by the rating. Comments should be moderated by the admin level. Businesses can be listed by the admin, or suggested by the user for approval by admin. Other functions of the site will include a job search directory (simple database search with all entries being posted by admin). From the home page there should be quick links to: - Comment/rate on product or service - search for a product - search for a service - search for job; apply for job; list a vacancy - contact us/about us We would like a simple, clean, trendy and classy design, and can provide examples. We can also provide a Powerpoint presentation with flowchart for the site requirements. Please contact me via message board for this info. Our main factor for consideration is budget, so please bid accordingly. We are open to the use of open source programming and using code that was developed earlier in the endeavour to minimise costs.
