I have installed ActiveState Perl and AWStats on my Windows 2003 web server, but I don't have time to finish configuring them. I'm not sure that Perl needs any additional config, but I know the stats package does.
My goal is to be able to have Perl and web log stats available for every web site on the server. Ideally, the stats would be provided by a single page I could drop into each web site folder that would pull up the stats for the site. The stats page could be written in PHP or any .NET language.
I would also like a little tutorial written up about how I configure AWStats for new web sites.
I'm also available to other approaches and ideas.
PHP 5 and ASP .NET 1.1 are both available on the server. It is also running IIS 6.0.
My guess is that this project would be really easy for somebody who had done it before.
