I have a simple problem:
I have media files (AVI, WMV, SWF) WITHOUT the Main headers.
I have the Main headers for these files seperately.
I want a quick prototype renderer / player that can take two inputs:
1. Byte array that contains the Main header for the media file
2. Either another Byte array OR a file pointer to the media file WITHOUT the header.
Given these two inputs, you should be able to render the media file.
I actually have a much larger project that would get sanctioned based on succesful proof of concept of this one task.
Any DirectShow Gurus here?
## Deliverables
The requirement is very straightforward.
Just render a AVI, WMV or SWF file that does not have the Main header in it. Take the Main header as a seperate input.
When you render, just use standard player layout with the usual stop, pause, resume, forward and rewind buttons.
Except for taking the Header as seperate input, this should be a simple DirectShow rendering task.
