Custom Browser Component (.NET)

**Create a customized browser** We need a component or library (.NET) to use instead of mshtml/shdocvw/webbrowser. The browser will be used for automated interaction, so not UI is required. You don't have to render the pages! What IS required is a fast, stable, and isolated browser instance that is capable of loading in linked elements (scripts, images, etc.) and of executing scripts, just as IE or Firefox do. It must have a DOM implementation that is roughly compatible with IE/FF, enough to be used by the javascripts on the page. This means it must be thread-safe and must be capable of completely isolating each instance from all other instances existing in the same thread or process. Isolated means: * Each instance can use separate proxy settings from all other instances * Each instance has its own cookies, which are not mingled with or accessible to any other instance, * Each instance's scripts, etc. cannot access other instances in any way * If one instance fails or has an error, it does not affect other instances. The purpose is to be able to script automated interactions with our websites, without the problems we are encountering from mshtml/webbrowser. CodeProject and other sites have published very similar articles (although not developed enough to be stable). We're even happy to provide resources to get you started. We would prefer if you either have done something similar before, or already have a working component/library. You may use third-party components with advance approval. With your final bid request, you need to provide enough detail that we can ensure you understand the task. Also, please specify - language (C#, VBNET, Delphi, or VC++); VS2005 or not; .NET 1.1 or 2.0 or other; etc. After reading further details in the attachment (READ THE ATTACHMENT!), your questions are welcome. ## Deliverables 1) A working component or code library for use in other program, along with all source code. Must use **VB.NET, C#, Delphi, or VC++** (prefer VB/C#). Best would be Visual Studio 2005 solution. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows: stable, operable, debugged code capable of running in WinXP and Win 2003 .NET machines under circumstances typical to those described in the request description (multi-threaded, high-speed applications and scripts). 3) A small demonstration application (console or winform) with source, to demonstrate that the component works properly. 4) Adequate documention, to include: in-code comments of classes and members, preferably XML documentation, and a description of the proper use of the component in the described scenarios.? 5) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. 6) No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement.
