Create WMI Counter
Installed server software often creates WMI counters that can be read by PerfMon on NT-based operating systems. I know how to read these counters, but I don't know how to create an application that will "publish" its own counters.
Project requirements:
Create an application with 4 buttons:
Start: Begin publishing the counter
Stop: Stop publishing the counter
Increment: Increase the counter value by 1
Decrement: Decrease the counter value by 1
I should be able to run this program and have Perfmon open in another window reading the counters that this application is publishing. I should be able to click on the increment and decrement buttons and see the counter value rise and fall.
Please don't bid on this project if you don't know how to do this.
