Distance comparison to HTML table

"A comparison table showing the relationship between different records." Records are held in an MSSQL database. Each record contains about 40 different values. We need a script that compares these the values in each record with one another based upon matched and differences. This can be achieved by usually using the ABS() function. The results are then outputted to an HTML table similar to that shown. This is similar to a distance chart found in some driving maps. Records should group together based upon their distances. Records that match or are close matches are color-coded (see image) The record with the most common (modal) set of values must be listed first at the top. The code will be in ASP/VB but the output will be an HTML table. There are 50 records in the sample database provided which then need to have calculations performed on them and displayed in the HTML table. Our own database contains thousands of records but the number of records that are compared wach time will not exceed 50 and thus the HTML table should be able to hold up to 50 values. We will provide FTP and SQL Server 2000 access to our test server. It must be demonstrated to be working on our site. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform You need to be able to access our site using an FTP program (not using Internet Explorer) and access our SQL Server 2000. You will need SP3 or greater if running SQL Enterprise Manager ([login to view URL]) to connect with the server.
