I work for a computer consulting company. We are looking for a software that will not only track all of our customers, and the type of network the are running and the hardware and software they have. We also need it to keep track of inventory and hours worked. We also need it to be able to print invocies for both labor and parts. We where thinking of having a server with the software running and a couple of desktops running a client version of it, and then our techs can loggin in to either the client version on the desktops to check where they have to go next and so forth. We also want it to have a feature where the techs can starting filling in a type of roledeck of solutions to problems they have had, so that when a tech fixes a problem, he can fill out a form that will tell the next person some ideas on fixing the problem. (I've been asked to add more info. We then also want the ability to create invocies for parts and or labor on the fly. After reviewing it with my boss we actually want to change it a little. We want the software to be able to download updated info over the internet onto our techs laptop. We want the web portion to be for the customers, here they can add new requests, so they don't have to call in, and also pay thier bill. So we will need some kind of shopping cart I guess. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
