**Overall Goal:
**The ability to test out the effectiveness of different creatives (images and/or text segments) in producing a desired outcome - also called a conversion.
**Here is an example for a specific test:
**Desired outcome -
On a web site that both provides product information and an online store section - we have these desired events (conversions):
1 - We want visitors to visit the online store section of the web site
2 - We want visitors to purchase the product
**Example Test:
**We want to test the wording for the link to the ecommerce section of the site.
We want to test two different options for what word to use:
A - Buy
B - Store
For the above test, we will be able to divide visitors into two groups.
Group A will see the word "Buy" for the link to the ecommerce section.
Group B will see the word "Store" for the link to the ecommerce section.
**The system will be able to provide the following numbers.
**1 - How many visitors were assigned group A.
2 - How many visitors were assigned group B.
3 - How many visitors in each group viewed the main ecommerce page.
4 - How many visitors in each group purchased the product (we can measure this by simply counting the number of visitors that viewed the product purchase confirmation page).
All of the above numbers are per day.
