My company is one that builds web sites and web applications for nonprofits. We are in need of an ASP.Net developer that wants their sites to make a difference in the community. We hope to find a long-term relationship with a developer that has his or her own development environment that we can outsource projects to on a regular basis.? ? ?
Project Description:
We currently have 10 e-commerce forms written in Classic ASP that take payment for donations and various types of classes, camps and other event registrations for a Zoo. Each form leads into a 3 to 4 step check out process. The process take customer information, allows them to select the class or classes they’d like their child to attend, takes their payment information and deposits the information into a SQL Server Express 2005 database.? ?
We need to convert these 10 forms to ASP.Net and add some new functionality that gives customers have an online customer account. This account would allow them to check their Zoo membership, keep their contact information updated, view past transaction receipts and view what camp their child is registered for. In addition when logged in the customer can speed themselves through the check out process as the forms will preload their and their child’s contact info.? ?
We need an experienced ASP.Net developer that can work fast as we are on a tight deadline to finish this project. The site should be written in VB.Net and will be hosted on a Windows 2003 server. We have already built the SQL Server 2005 Express database that serves as the back-end for these forms and can provide that during development. We do not need any programming of the credit card processing for the forms. We will plug that in later.
