Assistance with minor updates to C# 2005 code/site

I have received the task of updating a simple web application with some new form fields and other small such items. However the person who originally wrote the code, is no longer with the company.
I have full administrative permissions of the machine that runs the app (A Windows XP machine with IIS installed) and a copy of the source code.
I also have access to a workstation with Visual Studio 2012 installed.
What I need is assistance in getting the source code imported/loaded into Visual Studio, add the new form fields to the code, modify the backend database (Access or SQL Server) to add the corresponding fields and deploy the updated code to the production machine.
For an experienced developer, I expect this to take anywhere from a few hours to half a days work.
It's also important that work can begin tomorrow (monday) before noon, European time, which means you have to working out of western europe or east of this time zone.
