Hi I have a pretty good knowledge of the iOS location framework so this should not be to hard for me. To store all the data on, I would advise to use AWS (Amazon Web Services) with Parse Server. This allows easy data storage for free, and once your app gets bigger and more data is stored, it will cost you something. When using Parse, you can also easily build an Android or Web app around the same database because Parse is very widely used. This seems like an interesting project to me since I have a passion for history and I really like travelling, this app combines them both. There are a lot of bidders out there on this project, but most of them are Asian teams which will not be able to provide the same personal advice as I can give you. It is hard these days to win a project from them. It would be awesome to be chosen for this! That's also the reason why I'm bidding so low. Let's discuss this some more in chat!
