WHAT WE WANT FROM MOBILE APPLICATION

1. Social Integration: Users should be able to share content from the company mobile app on popular social networks such as linked in and Facebook.

Goal: so that it can be in front of new audiences, it will assist in recruiting and branding. For example, someone could ‘like' newsletter, which may then appear on their friends' Facebook feed. This allows all of their friends to view the item.

2. Information Sharing: The organization should be able to share information to members of Royal through push notifications.

Goal: fast delivery of information for better decision making and becoming more transparent. For Example: sending monthly sales achieved, stock in hand, debtors pending to the project leads

3. Knowledge Sharing: Users should be able to upload photographs and information related to new way of doing things which gets saved automatically saving man hours, recording of information for current & future use and entering new businesses.

4. Site Information Sharing (Able to send tailored messages to users): Users based out of other locations (E.G. – Project Sites) should be able to upload photographs and information related to their sites which should get saved automatically saving man hours, recording the information for current & future use and taking quick decisions.

5. Problem Sharing & Answers: Users should be able to send all details related to problems which will go as a notification to all users (after moderator’s approval) for possible solutions. This will result in innovative and quick solutions.

e. Connectivity to Company’s HR system, ERP and others.

7. Location Tracking: The administrators should be able to track the location of the users. This will enable the company to know the whereabouts for quick access.

8. Sending Real time shipment details: One of the most important things is resources reaching site on time. The respective user will enter the real time shipment details which should go to the respective Project Managers.

9. Equipment Maintenance Report: There will be a checklist that will have dates required for necessary preventive maintenance. Which will remind the respective site in-charge that it’s pending until a resolution is given. This will increase accountability and a handy mobile will remind the user for the same.

10. Sending Inventory Report: The user will be able to give details of all inventories through the system along with photographs which will come to the Head Office. This will give timely and more accurate details.

11. Adding pending tasks list: For every user which can be crossed off once completed. It is also important that the data being uploaded through app is visible to other users and simultaneously synced with the servers for storage (survey reports for example).

12. Available across all Platforms: The Mobile App should be available across Android, Windows and iOS. (Android is the first priority)
