Requirements in Matlab Code
1. The program needs to ask for the fin diameter as an input, i.e., for example, use “input” command in Matlab.
2. When the user gives the number less than 1 or greater than 9, it should give the error message, saying that this is wrong input.
3. The program needs to print out the progress of the calculations, including the number of iteration and maximum error as shown below both in screen and file.
4. The program needs to plot the temperature distribution within the fin, T as a function of distance from the base, 0 ≤ x ≤ L as well as maximum error as a function of the number of iterations, using subplot function, i.e., subplot(2,1,x) with the labels.
Must provide the following:
1. Your original Matlab code.
2. Plot for T vs x and Max Error vs iteration (see the example plot above) for both k1 and k2 W/m-K.
3. Calculate the heat flux for both k1 and k2 W/m-K.
4. Discussions about your plots, explaining why the higher thermal conductivity give you different temperature profile and heat flux.
5. The results of your maximum error for first AND last 10 iterations.

hi.............. i am interested in this assignment. regards inder. ....... ......... ..............................................................
the temperature distributuion can be done in matlab by me because i am a control engineer and have hands on experince in simulations of different systems in matlab including modern control systems.
