I decided to change my webserver (dedicated) from a hosting provider to another.
Both servers are on Centos 6
Whats needed:
1. add the IPs given by the new hosting company to the network interface as they just give me a block of IP
2. uninstall the free trial cpanel (given by the hosting company automatically) and install virtualmin/webmin.
3. Install the fallowing modules as some of the websites are videostreaming sites:
PHP CLI,MEncoder,MPlayer,FFMpeg,FLVTool2,Mediainfo,MP4Box,NeroAacEnc
4. assign the domains to ips, create their ns, ftp , ssh, mysql users (probably through the webmin)
5. transfer all the websites and databases from old server to new server
Hello, no problem. I have over 9 years experience as an Linux admin. I can configure the server and migrate the content. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. Thank You
