I am using angular js to render tables. I am also using the datatables directive found here.

I am trying to render data that has thousands of records. I end up using ng-repeat to show the data however with all the watchers angular has it takes a long time for the page to load and makes the browser very slow. I wanted to setup some way to only render a limited amount of records first to get the data to load and then behind the scenes load the rest of the data. I tried using the limitTo, it adds the records to the list but it kills the built in paging. If I also attempt to do the built in search of datatables it doesnt search the data that was added when I changed the limitTo variable. Need a solution that works and is fast and doesnt mess with the functionality of datatables.
First person to show me a solution will win the bid. When you bid please dont tell me your past experience. I only care about you showing me a solution.
Good luck.
