The project is to develop first stage of a resource for advanced language studying, and a tool for interpreters/translators. Objective: 1. Design a tool that will allow data imputer to take a book in two languages and match sentence for sentence full texts of the book in two languages. 2. Design a site that will display a list of available books for each language pair. When clicking on a book title a text in primary language comes up on the web page in an easy to read, scroll down, and turn pages form. On hovering mouse pointer over a sentence user can see corresponding sentence in second language. Again variety of display methods are available to user to choose from to make the whole experience of reading in one language and checking same text in another a pleasant and convenient experience. 3. Provide a search facility on site for input of a sentence in one language and a search of corresponding translations of that sentence in the whole database of texts in the other language.
