We are looking for a developer with experience creating creating cross platform automation scripts for Adobe Illustrator Creative Cloud using JavaScript / ExtendScript. There are a number of interrelated scripts to be developed. This first project will be used as a test to identify the freelancer to work with for the additional, more complex, scripts involving in depth scripted alteration of Illustrations. This initial script needs to verify that the open Adobe Illustrator CC document contains 5 named groups with specific names, then create a new document, select, resize and place each of the named group contents in a specific format into the new document artboard. One of the named groups will contain two text fields which will then need to be populated with substrings derived from the original file's filename, e.g. 1234_laptop.ai. The script will then save the newly created Illustrator file in the same directory as the source file and name it based on the source file name, e.g. 1234_laptop_presentation.ai. Lastly the new document will also be saved as a transparent PNG24 to the same name but with the PNG extension, e.g. 1234_laptop_presentation.png. Please do not bid on this project unless you possess a very strong understanding of Adobe Illustrator CC and have a good deal of experience developing JavaScript automation scripts for Adobe CC. Developed scripts for CS5, CS6, CC, CC 2014. Made a similar script for Illustrator on JavaScript: see my portfolio I have problems with the English language but there are no problems with JavaScript and Adobe Illustrator. I also create extension panel for Adobe Illustrator.
