Browser Extensions

Hi

We are implementing a web application development project that needs to push user selected data/content from a browser to a local server (running on the PC itself) which processes it and presents content on the browser again. The work comprises of two components :

1. Implementing browser extensions for Firefox / IE : this is to enable users to select displayed content and push it to the local server. The extension will add selection capability to the browser context menu/tools.

2. Implementing the back end web service : this will require XML/XSLT and HTML/Javascripting skills and involves implementing the back end service that is running on the local web server and that presents formatted content back on the browser.
