Work Request: Comprehensive code and system review of our ATG website with the goal being, the elimination of 4 major website bugs. Soon after go-live of our e-commerce site we started experiencing several critical system/site bugs. These bugs are random in nature, and have not been cornered to specific areas of code at this time. We have identified, and named, 4 major bugs that need to be fixed. 1) Clear Cart: during checkout, an error occurs which clears all items from the user's cart 2) API Exception Error: during "add to cart" the user receives and API Exception Error and the "add to cart" fails 3) Corrupt URL: after the order is submitted, data inconsistencies within the order's XML file is found prohibiting the processing of the order within the backend ERP system 4) Site Stability: the website crashes too often (either one or both of the application servers crashes) We are searching for an expert and/or experts to solve these problems. Specifically, we are immediately looking for experts who can diagnosis and determine where the bugs reside, and propose solutions to fixing and eliminating the bugs. We believe the expertise required includes both environmental/hardware analysis of our ATG system and the configured servers, drivers, etc. We also believe a full code review is required of our ATG base code, and ATG custom code, to decipher where within the code these bugs exist. Additionally, we have seen several indications in the system logs that point to database deadlocks being the problem, or at least contributing to this problem. Therefore, it is required that any inquiries to this job possess expert level SQL 2000 deadlock, code interaction to SQL 2000, log review skills in order to be successful.
