(a)You will implement the Gauss-Newton method for finding the best curve approximation to a set of data given a curve fa,b,c(x).
(b) In this part you’ll investigate the convergence of the power method for calculating eigenvalues and eigenvectors of randomly generated 2 × 2 matrices.
(c) using linear transformations, you will create a movie consisting of 121 frames (numbered from 0 to 120) which can be shown one every 1/24 second. The idea is to create a sequence of frames such that consecutive pairs of frames differ slightly from one another. You should at least provide the data corresponding to each frame and show pictures of sample frames, but if you are able to provide a movie, that would be nice.

I am capable of doing this. I have a master degree in physics and I have a strong professional background in mathematical computational field. I have already used the Gauss-Newton algorithm for dynamics simulations. An Más

Dear Sir, I will submit (modify) my proposal in 5 days after doing some of the first part (Gauss-Newton method) and if I feel I can do the rest in my time (15-5=10 days then). I use Matlab/Simulink for my computatio Más
