This application must run on Android devices, particularly on small tablets. It receives information through a serial port (using an USB adapter), and shows it on the screen.
The information consists on ASCII commands, which contains data for 4 user selectable screens. One of these screens represents the real time tracking of a vehicle. There is no background map, and it should support some zoom levels. The device has no internet connectivity, so Google Maps can't be used. Coordinates for the drawing are obtained from the ASCII commands. The vehicle can be represented by a triangle, pointing to the moving direction. The drawing should be panned automatically when new coordinates arrives so the vehicle is always visible on the map.
The other screens are just for showing text and numbers.
Attached there is an example of how the drawing should look.
