Convert jsp to Flex proof of concept( POF ) Scope: Provider to prove: o Flex GUI to pass data to Sprint mvc controller. o Spring MVC controller to pass data to Flex GUI Current app: controller loads a Bean into session jsp pulls a bean from session scope The Bean has all the data necessary to display the html/jsp current jsp has a table that displays a list of Objects. jsp submits data to a controller. Spring validates and loads data into command object. Controller uses the command object. Provided: simple spring web app that has the following: one typical jsp form. a controller that accepts the form data. o one typical jsp with table displaying a list of Objects. controller that loads a session bean with list of objects. NO database persistance will be provided. None needed for POF. Deliver: replacement Flex app with AS classes, mxml and necessary framework libraries Experience: developing Spring web apps. experience converting JSP to Flex GUI. NO need for Fancy graphic design. Experience with BlazeDS Requirements: o NO solution that creates a stream of XML as communication. o Use BlazeDS. o No code changes in legacy controllers allowed. o May put wrappers around the business logic if different parameters are needed.
