We have an 813 sq ft 2BR 2 bath condo in the Charleston building on York St in Kits.
This was purchased as a rental investment property but we are considering renovating so we can live there.
We have the existing floor plan, and a hand drawn design of what we want to do. Part of our plan involves reconstruction. For example we want to make a den into a flexible space with folding walls. We want to reduce the size of the guest bathroom in order to fit a pantry. We want to create built in cupboards in the MBR to maximize storage and storage space. We also envision changing 4 doors from traditional to pocket doors. We have apartment sized furniture from another property that we want to use. We have colours and some finishing picked out.
We want to maximize thus small space and want to be creative with things like Murphy beds or fridge drawers in stead of full sized equipment to make space as useful as possible.
