Design logo & label for exciting new ethnic food product

Who we are: We're a new company set up by two working mums who share a passion for delicious homemade African food but struggle to find much time to cook! Their love for food and desire to bring more convenience to cooking regular authentic meals led them to start Made by Mama – a family based business that aspires to bring modern convenience to delicious traditional meals the entire family enjoys – just like our mothers used to! Our target audience: Mothers – Nigerian, aged 30 – 60; Our launch product: A traditional ethnic (west African) stew base with tomato, peppers & onions to be used in cooking popular dishes including stews, jollof, soups and more. It has been designed for the modern cook who likes healthy delicious meals but wants speed and convenience in cooking – just like they can get in almost every other cuisine! No need to measure, wash, chop, deseed, blend and cook ingredients for long periods – we’ve taken out all the hard work so all you have to do is cook, season and enjoy! In a nutshell, Made by Mama’s stew brings you: 1 - Convenient: Takes out the hassle, time & guesswork of cooking the perfect stew, jollof & more! 2 - Delicious: No compromise on taste - just as good as the homemade kind mama made 3 - Authentic: Traditional taste and firmly grounded in African heritage 4 - Healthy: Enjoy the nutritious benefits of cooked tomatoes with no artificial additives What we need: We need to design a new logo and also label (tin cans) for our first product and need help with both. We're looking for creativity with logos and branding as well as experience especially with UK food packaging / labelling requirements. We want the logo first and then label next.
