We are a 25 year old wholesaler of home furnishings and decor items and are seeking an independent graphic designer located in the greater metro Atlanta area that can work on our 2017 catalog. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Adobe InDesign, as this is the program compatible with our printer. We require an individual who can pick up previous versions of our catalog in press-optimized PDF to set up specifications, then start a new catalog from scratch. Flight checking, libraries of fonts and images, with native AI files is required before press-optimizing and transmitting our publication to print via ftp site. We would prefer an individual that can visit our office 1 x per week to go over proofs and progress. The chosen designer will work directly with our marketing department and the business owner with deadline of Thanksgiving 2016 to have a 64 page oversized tabloid publications into proofing. Final deadline in December we will send to press. This is an independent contractor position with a form W-9 required to be completed prior to start date in late September, 2016.
