I'm looking to build a modern, fresh and inviting website. It will be a subscription base website geared towards piano teachers and piano students. I would like two portals, one for teachers and one for students.
My background: I am a musician, teacher, and composer. I have turned my passion into a music school but want to expand my piano method nation wide. I have published a piano theory book and teachers will have access to this book and all the answers (and "intellectual property") if they become members (and certified).
I envision a lot of things for this website and need to create a solid base because I will be adding many things as my method develops. This website will need to be built in phases. Phase one would be getting the two portals set up, and get the right feel for the website. A very important section once teachers have access to a portal is a section for my book that's available on Amazon. Teachers will have access to all the answers and how to teach the book. Other features I'd like to have available is sheet music. I'd like this website to THE GO TO NETWORK for piano teachers. I'd like my method to be THE WAY to teach piano (the fun way). I'm classically trained but my main goal in life is to instill passion and pass on my love for piano to all students. I believe if teachers around the US adopt this method, there will be millions of happy parents and students.
I'm trying to find an incentive for teachers to want to be a part of my method. If they become certified, they will be able to get a cut of every METHOD book they sell to their students. They will also get money for every teacher they refer and that become certified/members. This is where I would need a way to track teachers. They need a code that they would give their students, and they'd get paid automatically.
I have more in my head but this should give you a good idea!
