Hi, I have built a website similar to this before, I would suggest using WordPress for this project. WordPress is the reason that I can offer you a lower price as it comes with built in RSS feed collectors that we can hook into the major news centers. I would be happy to make sure that the site was designed to your liking and was pulling from the news centers that you are looking to pull information from. To give you an idea the RSS feed collector that I have in mind pulls text and images from the feed, displays them stacked up on the page, users can then move through the pages to view all of the news articles that have filtered through. The bid that I have put forward assumes that you have a domain name (I can provide you with the hosting if needed). If you do not have a domain name that either you can secure that yourself or I can register it for you at cost.
