CG animation - analyze this video, how did they make it?

Please analyze these videos:
Video 1:

Notice the zooming in/out and panning. Also a fade-out of the logo at 0:18
Notice the post-production editing, CG gray-shadow background throughout the video.
What do you think he's using to achieve this?
Video 2:

Note the zoom at 0:12 and the post-production shadow, this time in a circle around the video.
What do you make of this and how could we get the same results?
If we do a whiteboard animation on our own (we have good camera equipment) and if we send that raw video to you, can you crop, zoom, pan and place the shadows, and perform some minor CG work to make a style that is remarkably similar to those videos above?
We also need some audio mixed in and synchronized with the video.
Please note the video will not be edited, it will be raw and at normal speed. You will need to speed it up to sync it with the audio of the man speaking (in mp3 format). Watch the videos above to understand what I am talking about.
