Datafeeds

e21Software use xml datafeeds to distribute property information to various third parties in the travel/property and tourism sectors. We use a windows spoftware application developed in Borland Delphi 6 to generate xml (usually) datafeed files which are then "ftp'd" online to the 3rd party. These processes run once a day or one per week. The processes are windows exe run on office based pc's. We have a standard application which is copied and then modified for each datafeed. A scheduler executes the application at the appropriate time. Database knowledge is not required. We have a datamodule which we have developed to interface to our databases. We have database independent functions for locating data and accessing fields. Requirement 1) A developer to take on the role of developing the datafeeds. We provide the specification and then you modify our "standard datafeed module" to generate the file. 2) You must have good delphi experience, preferably in delphi 6. Do not apply unless you have at least 2 years experience. References will be required. Test data will be provided. Money You will be paid a fixed value per datafeed - most are similar. Timing An immediate start - datafeeds are waiting. We plan on providing 2-3 a month - or more. We have 5 waiting now.
