Conduct your research/analysis on data you have collected. You may not
simply pull down complete datasets from the Internet and base your paper on that
data in isolation.
You MAY combine the data you collect/create with other sources of
data such as Census data, US Postal data, county/state/federal tax or spending data,
etc. however you must be able to make the case that combining your data with
broadly available data actually adds value to your project.
The final paper must follow the APA 6th edition standards and will be graded based
on the attached rubric.
Requirements:
Define and collect the data yourself
• could be physical collection via raspberry pi, sensor, activity, etc.
• could be visually observed data over time

data, and the creation of the final paper and poster board.
Don’t just collect and graph the data, make theories or hypotheses, use the data to
describe or explain something, predict something using the data.
Paper must include description of the problem/research space, theories or hypotheses, data collection/definition steps/process, analysis steps conducted results/conclusions.
