Data Processing and Classification for a Pharmacy Project

The nature of the task involves data processing and classification, and the workload required is approximately 150 hours over 4-5 weeks. You may do half the work if committed with other tasks/deadlines. The job would ideally suit someone with a healthcare background (especially pharmacy, medical or nursing) or a healthcare university student. The project involves classifying medication incidents/errors that occurred in community pharmacies according to a standardised classification system available on an Excel document. You are required to read a medication incident records (just a few lines describing what went wrong, how, who and why) then categorise/classy the data record into a spreadsheet by selecting or copying and pasting the most appropriate choices. The classification system describes various concepts such as types of incidents, severity, likelihood of recurrence, medication error type, healthcare workers involved, factors that contributed to or caused the incidents, ways of preventing such an error in the future. The classification system is well-structured, logical and readily understood, however, it requires one getting familiar with its concepts and hierarchal order to be an accurate classifier. To give you an idea, one incident record would require about 20-30 classification items (copied from the Classification Excel document to the appropriate cell in the corresponding working sheet) and should take about half an hour once you do a few and get familiar with the classification system. I do need to explain the the details in a teleconference using Skype or GoToMeeting which allow me to share my computer screen with you so I can demonstrate how the data can be entered and how the classifying process works using the existing Excel template.
