Collection of Data for Tourist Agency - Web search

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: We are looking for dependable freelance data entry operators who can do web searches/mining for tourist attractions, and collect data in an Excel file in a pre-defined format. We intend to select multiple freelancers and do repeated projects with them. The selected freelancers will be assigned with different cities (specific to Indian market), within which they are expected to collect the data. List of attractions will be given for which data needs to be collected. Before awarding the project, to check the quality of the work & your understanding of our requirement, we have attached a sample sheet. Please collect the data in attached excel sheet (Need to fill Main database sheet, Open & close days and timings sheet, Ticket cost sheet) and attach the sheet along with your bid. Based upon the quality of the work and the bid amount, we will chose the freelancers. Kindly look into the "Explanation" worksheet to understand how to update the excel template. If needed, we can have a skype call so that you understand the exact requirements. NOTE: Bids will not be entertained without sample verification data. Quality of Work a) 20% of the data will be analyzed for errors and errors should not exceed more than 5% of total collected data. Deadline a) Based on the city assigned, the deadline may vary. Typically the deadline will be about 30 - 40 calendar days. Freelancers are encouraged to submit their approximate timeline required based on the number of entries mentioned. Please note that we reserve the right to accept the deadline proposed. Penalties a) If the project is delivered past the deadline, we reserve the right to levy a penalty of 10% of that project's payment. If the deadline is passed over 1 week, we reserve the right to cancel the project. b) If the errors exceed given levels or sufficient data is not collected, we reserve the right to levy a 5% penalty. In extreme cases, we also reserve the right to invalidate the project. Resources a) Freelancers will be required to use MS Excel 2011 or above. Also, freelancers will be responsible for procuring all technical resources (computer, software, internet connection etc) at his/her cost. We will not reimburse any such expense. The payment rates mentioned in the agreement will be all-inclusive. b) All source websites must be mentioned with the collected data. c) The excel sheet contains the source links from where you can find most of the data.
