Dear Hiring Employer,
I am a traveler of the world. And I understand the mission of urging more people to get out of their usual routines, pack their bags and travel for a while. I don't know what most freelancers write on here-- maybe a lot of formal and past experiences on submissions and writing, but when it comes to traveling, I think you need somebody who gets emotions and experiences that will touch someone's soul because that's what traveling is about: Living. This is what I mean.
The beautiful thing about writing is that it isn't limited to just the writers, to just pen & paper, or overused keyboards. Writing can be told in every shape and form: the curve of the mouth; the softness of the eyes; the way somebody moves when she wants to cave into herself and cry. Everything is writing, and this has been my experience. I think this is good because writing isn't only about ideas. It's about living. It's about turning up the volume of the world. This is what I'm good at-- telling what needs to be told. And that's what traveling is about. It's about stories. It's about living and experiencing things. You need a writer who understands what it means to travel, and wants others to travel for themselves and see what it's all about. I will be professional about it, but I will also be personal, because marketing is about telling a story that will get people to listen.
