I need help with the last leg of a Ruby on Rails web app for keeping track of cellared beers. Most of the framework is done (beers, breweries, users) but finishing up the cellaring part is beyond my skillset.
Below are the missing parts needed to be coded:
Cellar Page
-Sortable columns
-Aggregate same beer/year/size (If exist, add new quantity to existing quantity) [Right now, adding a beer to the cellar creates another line item, instead of combining into existing one]
-Remove/Add beer (+ and - buttons, update quantity, if 0, remove line)
Messaging System - Pre-made gem for this?
-Inbox
-Messaging history
-Normal messaging system stuff
Misc
-Search (beer, brewery, user)
-Sign up with Facebook
Hi,
Will work for beer! Just kidding...I am a seasoned IT professional with over 12 years of enterprise web development experience and over 6 years of Ruby on Rails experience. Having worked in large enterprise teams, I am accustomed to writing code that is clean, well commented, and unit tested. The code that you receive from me will be straight forward and easy to understand and maintain going forward. I adhere to Agile methodologies and believe that good communication between developers and product owners is vital for a successful project. I am based out of Kansas City and English is my first (and only) language which should help in communication and project coordination. I'd love to have the opportunity to help out with this as I am an avid beer lover and think it should be managed with the respect it deserves :)
Thanks!
Jonathan
