ASP.net (4.5) and bootstrap project to create a simple ASP.net web page form to allow user to register a product using a serial number. The page will have text box and a button prompting the user will enter a serial number for a product. The page need to mobile friendly and maximize the use of bootstrap controls. The page will then look for the serial number in database table ( You can create a temporary database table ( call it for now unregistered serials) that has the following fields : Serial number First Name Last Name Product name Address1 Address2 City State/province (All us states and province – should pull from a database table) Zip Code Country (Please structure the code to use database connection with a username and password, since the form will use an external database. Also stored procedures should be used to query the database. The system should then validate if the serial number exist in the database. If it’s not in the system then a message should describe the serial doesn’t exist or been registered before and prompt the system to call customer support if they have questions. If the serial number is found then the information in the table for that serial should be loaded in a form, that’s appears below the button. Keep in mind that that some serial numbers may not have all the information in the table. Load what’s available in the form. the idea here is to allow the user to complete the missing information or correct the existing information before registering the product. The serial registration form should have all the field in the unregistered table in addition to : Email (validate it’s a valid email syntax) Phone Where you purchase the product Once the use submit the information, then all the information should be stored in another table ( Call it “Registered serials” ). Keep in mind customers can register the serial number product only once. Therefore there should be a flag in the unregistered table to maintain that case . Other note about the projects: - The project must be completed as soon as possible ( in 1-2 days or sooner ) - The payment will be rendered once the code compiles and has been validated (provide all scripts needed to run the project).
