I have a desktop in which ubuntu12.04.4 lts is installed. I also have a bsnl wireless internet connection. (bsnl is internet service provider in India). I wish to connect my Desktop to Internet preferably through a button or link in a website. whoever visiting the website and clicking button or link in it should be connected to my Desktop. I need a software which should connect my Desktop (of course it is having internet connected through bsnl wireless modem) to a person visiting my website [login to view URL] and clicking a link or button in it.

Actually by your project description is is not very much clear that what kind of connection you want to make and what you want to send over that connection, after knowing this I will be able to fully understand the time required for this project. thanks.

Good day to you Sire! I've done this beforne in my previous workplace, but with osx, but in ubuntu it should be the same. I can easily set up a remote desktop session via http/https protocol asap. I can start work immediately, as you provide me the necessary things as the IP adress of the desktop of yours so I can set it up directly.
