Looking for a software developer to help finish a project:
Requirements: Strong Knowledge of PIC18 Programming (Assembler and/or C), Strong knowledge of Electronics (Analog/Digital)
Project Name: AC Motor control with current and voltage sense for current/load compensation.
Microcontroller Used: PIC18F46K22(Currently use) – PIC18F47J53(Future), both from Microchip Technology.
Scope: Develop and Motor Soft-Starter with power control.
Project State: Prototype PCB hardware is designed and fabricated most of the motor control firmware is done; we are missing the load compensation on the firmware.
Main Functionalities:
1) The AC motor is controlled by a TRIAC which at the same time is controlled by the Microcontroller. (Hardware Design/Firmware done)
2) Implementation of a Soft-Start with power control using phase control, voltage and current sensing. (Hardware Design/ soft starter firmware is done with out the power control)
3) We are looking to achieve to add Voltage and Current Load compensation: When the motors starts using the Soft-Starter with no load the system should be able to provide the minimum voltage/current required to the motor in order to start with or without a load. If the load changes the software should compensate by supplying the minimum required voltage and current needed to the motor. So the current apply should be proportional to the load applied to the motor, for instance: more load on motor more current will be supplied, and with less load less current will be supplied.
We will give you our soft starter code, hardware schematic and video of scope what we have showing zero crossing and voltage and current sense to help the implementation of item 3 in to the current code.

I am a professional engineer with many years of industrial and academic experience, best guy for this job.
Hi, I'm working as electrical engineer since 2009. I worked on several project with PIC18. I worked a lot with the PIC18F46J50 and the PIC that you propose are very similar. I also already worked on project with Más
