We are a tech startup that's preparing to launch a new iPhone photo sharing application. We're looking for an experienced copywriter (and iPhone user) to submit up to 5 articles within two weeks (each between approx. 250 and 400 words) on various sites such as CollegeHumor, BuzzFeed, HubPages, EzineArticles, and other high traffic sites that accept article submissions. You must submit these articles under your full name and get approval from us on each article before you submit. Each article should be about a trending topic (i.e. Twitter trending topics, entertainment news, photo sharing, etc.) as well as tie in something cool about our app (including related print screens from our iPhone app so that people are compelled to download our app). We will start with one article for this project before confirming that we’d like to work with you on additional articles. All articles must pass copyscape.
Your qualifications:
- Proven work experience in creative writing required; must have the ability to write good, clear copy in a variety of styles with accurate spelling and grammar.
- Must be able to write articles that are geared towards the following target audiences: lifestyle, college, photography, tech.
- Must be knowledgeable about trending topics as well as have an interest in popular culture, new trends and styles.
- Excellent research skills.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Open to native English writers only.
- A complete freelancer.com profile.
- References or an established reputation on freelancer preferred.
- BA/MA degree in Journalism, Communications, English or a related discipline.
- US and Canada members only.
