“It is health that is the real wealth”, Mahatma Gandhi once said. And he could not have been more right. But choosing your doctor, dentist or other, can cause a lot of hassle, especially when you want to make the best choice. Even more so now, with all those new offices and an intimidating number of good doctors. But go beyond the shiny and ostentatious nameplates at the entrance and look for a dentist who will make you feel at ease whenever you pay him a visit; and while at it, you might want to check these points as well:
It is a matter of choice, in the end, therefore, a subjective matter. As any relationship, there needs to be some chemistry involved. You will need to trust and like your dentist. Ask yourself this question: would I want to go on a world tour with this person? Take a look at what people say about him. Try to find honest reviews, use word of mouth, ask your friends, and go for recommendations. Once you’ve found yourself a potential keeper, make sure that health norms and standards are thoroughly applied in their office. This should also feature modern medical equipment and practices, to make sure you’ll get up-to-date treatment, as technology doesn’t wait.
