Warn user of files could have issues. create check box that says prompt next time. setting should not prompt if they uncheck this box. that is the program. check out sandboxiedotcom for simular product. only need ares to work with firefox This all must be done with miniale resources taken up just like the sandboxe program. do not want a big java program that takes up lots of memory want simple program that can protect the user and at the same time let them run things as they are with little or no intervention from program. program should isolate any files or browser setting from computer. so if user goes to a page in the broser that is using this virutal system then anything downloaded stays in this area. ****if the web page has code to change files around or modify or leave cookies it should all stay in the virutal environment. including any kind of registry changes, startup file changes etc. programs should create directory necessary to fool program tring to run stuff. so in the envirormnet it should create c: d: e: drives with a windows directory and config files on c drive to fool any program that is tring to edit in teh envirorment ***Program must not take up alot of memory and it must not need to install onto a computer It will run from usb drive and install is allowed. it should create envirorment and that is that. no depenices on OS or anything loaded on the system other then windows os. In the end what we should get out of this is the following: 1. I can load firefox in this environment and it is no more then 10 extra megs of ram memory. 2. I point firefox to download a file and it saids download to desktop i click download and the file thinks it is going to the desktop but really it is c:\(virtual enviroment desktop) 3. I point firefox to a site that is a hacked site where the site will try to modify some files. it should only do so in the virtual enviroment area and not be able to tounch my real system. 4. (advanced feature) if users opens an attachment downloaded into the virutal enviroment the opening program should open in the virtual enviroment also. 5. log file where it sends all data that is being changed in vr envirorment so we know what site is hacking us. date and time of occurnece in log. and what the occuence is tring to access and change. ## Platform xp, vista, windwos 2k and 2003.
