Build a Website

This job is for the creation of a website which will require user login for 4 distinct user types, as well as a database of events which will be searchable and can be added or edited by the various users. The first job will be for the basic website, however numerous functions and features will need to be added, so there is the potential for continuing work. As this is a brand new website, there is no requirement for it to be built with any specific language; I am open to building it in the way that will be best considering the time it takes to build and the long-term usability of the site (ease of maintenance and changing). Some of the basic functions the site will need immediately: * A database of (mostly) recurring and (some) one-time events, searchable by distance, price, day/time, category, rating. * Ability to sort search results based on distance, rating, price, etc. * User logins for 4 types of users, with the ability to update their profiles and add/modify their own listings in the database, including photos and video. * One class of users should be able to bookmark or favorite events and have them show up in their own custom calendar. * Automatic location detection for searches, and ability to display the most popular/highest rated events based on that location. * Ability to rate and review the event; ratings based on 3 categories that will be averaged with other events (example: rate the venue will produce a rating that averages with the venue rating for all other events at that venue). Event organizers can respond to reviews. * Log in/sign up with Facebook/Google * Organizer sign up to be reminded to update their event schedule (weekly, monthly, etc.) * Photo jumbotrons with changing gallery * Responsive website, adjusting to screen size/mobile phones. * Other features to be added later (not included in this job) * Creation of Android and Apple apps to come later which will need to access the website's data The above is an overview, and I can give more details as needed. I am looking for someone who will stay in contact and work on this collaboratively. I will be doing all the design, and I can submit that to you in whatever format will be easiest for you (photoshop with all design elements, or html/css). I can communicate by skype/google hangouts or phone within the US. Working on it part time is fine, as long as I have a good estimate of completion time. I do not have a specific budget as I don't know what a website like this will cost realistically.
