ADVICE ON SETTING UP BATCH OF SMARTPHONES RUNNING ANDROID

We have just received a batch of Samsung GT-N7000 Galaxy Note smartphones which require setting up so that they can be used as PDAs running Service Management software.

They are loaded with Android 4.0.3.

Never having used Smartphones or touched Android before we require advice and instructions on how to carry out the following:

1. Update Android to latest version

2. Load software provided by Service Management System provider (<[url removed, login to view]>) (the website has no relevant information but understand from them that this is a very simple procedure.)

3. Install software which we will obtain from <[url removed, login to view]> (or something else you recommend) for the purpose of

1. restricting internet access to whitelisted sites only. (We can provide you with access to a website on which the white list can be hosted)

2. disabling applications not required for the intended purpose of the devices (please advise your recommendations in this regard)

4. Advise us regarding the connection of the devices to a central management portal that will allow their physical location to be identified and remote swipe if they were ever stolen.

There are 22 phones to apply the config to and we also require advice and instructions on how to do this. (Something like this:

We are experienced at imaging PCs and run a PC repair operation so we are not unfamiliar with IT in general but we are short of time and would rather pay for advice than spend time researching.
