C++ Collision Detection For Moving Bounding Objects
£20-250 GBP
Pagado a la entrega
I require 3 accurate collision detection functions for "moving" bounding objects written in C++ for use in a computer game. OBB vs OBB, Sphere vs Sphere and OBB vs Sphere. The functions will return the "time" and "point" of collision based upon the position, velocity, scale and orientation of the 2 bounding objects. These functions must be "accurate" and "fast" as they will be used for realtime collision detection in a computer game and must be delivered as source code not a library.
The game uses Directx and as such you can use any of their inbuilt functions to assist with the code.
Please contect me if you have any questions.
Thanks
David
I forgot to add that each bounding object would also have it's own dimensions. Radius for the spheres and width, height and depth for the Oriented Bounding Boxes.
I have also attached a diagram for OBBvsOBB which better explains what I need from each function.
Thank you
David

Hi, I'm working about 16 years with three dimensional computational geometry, and can make the code for you. Thanks
Well, for spheres the problem is obvious so the question is about OBBs mostly. But I see nothing difficult with them too. I bid not for money but for further reference.
HI, I am a game programmer with over 4 years of experience. Please check personal message for more details.
Please provide snapshots as examples. Without snapshots I can't estimate how hard the work will be.
Hi, already have functions for sphere vs sphere i can also make obb with ease. Have over 5 years experience in computer graphics. Contact me in pm for further details
Hi. I am the perfect candidate for your offer. I have strong C++ experience since I am a computer science, and expertise in mathematics since I am pursuing a PhD in robotics and machine learning.
