Storage Area Networks, abbreviated as SAN, are high-speed networks or subnetworks of storage devices that make these storage devices accessible to multiple servers, using a variety of topologies and protocols. SAN storage devices include disk-based devices and tape libraries.
The use of Storage Area Networks poses a lot of advantages. With SAN, storage capacity is larger as servers are not linked to a single storage device only. It also provides centralized backup, leading to simplification of management tasks. These networks also improve application availability and provides better option for backup and disaster recovery.De 3773 comentarios, los clientes califican nuestro SAN Engineers 4.9 de un total de 5 estrellas.
We have a problem where our SAN Storage disk logical sector size is 512 kb versus the physical sector is 4096 KB. We want logical sector size to be same as physical i.e. 4096 KB. The access to the SAN will be via Linux OS. So you need to have a good expertise in Linux. Pls discuss your approach on how you can achieve this?
